NBA Live 15 releases first game trailer (VIDEO)

Sep 2, 2014, 11:30 PM EST

Not only is the NBA season on the way (in a couple months, but still), so are the 2015 NBA video games.

This is the trailer for EA Sports NBA Live 15, which last week announced that the Portland Trail Blazer’s Damian Lillard will be the cover athlete this season.

Enjoy. NBA Live 15 hits the stores Oct. 7.

For a joke of a franchise, this doesn’t actually look too bad.

With Association (MyLeague) back on 2k though, they got me locked up.

Wish it was for PS3 as well

Graphics look pretty bad, the guys looks too robotic. 2K15 looks much better.

Didn’t mind listening to the 2chainz song though.

I’m pretty sure we all know NBA Live is inferior to 2K, but it’s not funny anymore….NBA Live 09 and 10 were solid basketball games. These aren’t playable anymore, and the fact they charge just as much as 2K for their game is sad.

Graphics look good to me. Don’t see any robotic motions, either. But that’s just the video that was supplied within the article… Nba live 08 was a great game. 5 on 5 was always playable and people didn’t quit. And you could play with a guest online. Nba 2k14 has no guest play online. Everyone always quits in 5 on 5 online. It’s a good game when you play by yourself but I’ve always found that the nba live games were better online than 2k. At least 08 was…..

Too soon for damian lillard in my opinion. Hes a good player but there are 10 other players deserving a cover over lillard (even after obvious picks such as durant lebron etc)

Graphics look sickk what y’all talking about?

The last version of this game was historically bad. I don’t know why anyone would waste their money on this game over 2k, which is just lightyears ahead.

The pic of Damian Lillard is altered. Dood’s ears are weirdly flat against his head, and do not protrude at all… similar to Lamar Odom. Damian Lillard to the art department, “can you make my ears look normal on the cover?”

omg that song sucks, he’s different yet he sounds like everybody else? you guys accept anything these days. anyway, i’m, buying 2k.

EA Live is just too far back. They lost a lot of fans by taking those 2-3 years off. People moved on to 2k and EA didn’t show anything ground breaking after being able to work that long on a time off.

    Live = easy pass.
NBA 2k is where it’s at.

True “sim” basketball. Now of EA hadn’t bought the NFL license, imagine what NFL 2k would be today :(
