Zach LaVine throws down some crazy dunks at Seattle Pro-Am (VIDEO)

Jul 27, 2014, 10:00 PM EDT

The 2015 Slam Dunk Contest might already belong to newly-drafted Zach LaVine, and we have no idea who else might even participate.

LaVine demonstrated a wide variety of dunking skills at Jamal Crawford‘s Pro-Am in Seattle this weekend, and while Timberwolves fans can’t be happy about Kevin Love forcing his way out of town, at least they should have plenty of acrobatic finishes to look forward to now that LaVine is on the roster.

I usually don’t watch this crap, as is has little to do with actually winning basketball games. That being said, WOW! This kid can elevate.

Debbie downer on acrobatics I see.

Yep. Athleticism has little to do with playing basketball…

    That last dunk is ill.

This video literally made me say “oh my gosh” out loud with each dunk.
If the wolves can pair him with wiggins, Rubio will have a lot of fun this season.

Have you seen him play actual basketball games? He goes 1000mph down the court leaps into the air and promptly turns the basketball over. Rubio will put out a hit on this guys head halfway through the season. His ‘crew’ will be telling him he deserves to touch the ball more and he’ll believe it and turn into a bottomless pit of turnovers.

My goodness. The one where he nearly took off from the free throw line and windmilled it. No words. Except ..spectacular.

      Yo! I mean…maaaan!

I have become less and less impressed with dunks because I feel like I’ve seen them all. That and Vince Carter ruined me/spoiled me and my eyes. But this kids dunks are something special!

^^^ FILTHY…..ALL of them!! ^^^ Look’s like he is floating!!

I was at the Mizzou game and he threw down a nasty windmill on a break.

Between him, wiggins and Gordon and prob a few other rookies I’m missing, the dunk contest this year should be can’t miss. It’s going to be a tough cut.

should have stayed in school, would have been a top 5 pick, and wouldn’t be in Minnesota, which he clearly didn’t want.
