LeBron James’ letter in Morgan Freeman’s voice? LeBron James’ letter in Morgan Freeman’s voice

Jul 24, 2014, 1:04 PM EDT

LeBron James announced his decision to leave the Heat for the Cavaliers in his own words with a letter in Sports Illustrated.

Did you ever wish you could hear it read in Morgan Freeman’s voice? The answer is yes, even if you didn’t realize it yet.

Though Freeman hasn’t read the letter aloud – at least not for public consumption – Frank Caliendo has impersonated the actor reading LeBron’s letter. Expectedly, it’s fantastic.

Not a huge fan of Caliendo in general, but he completely nails it whenever he impersonates Gruden.

The voice, mannerisms, etc. are all spot on.

It was even better when they had the music from Shawshank Redemption playing in the background.

ESPN later took down the original video and removed the music due to copyright concerns, but the original broadcast with the music was outstanding.
