Kings celebrate wildly in locker room after winning Summer League title (VIDEO)

At first glance, it’s worth wondering if this locker room celebration video taken by the Kings following their Summer League tournament championship on Monday is truly a genuine display of enthusiasm.

After all, Summer League titles aren’t exactly something teams hang banners in the arena for, and having a bit of fun at our expense would make far more sense than players going nuts for real in the locker room after a somewhat meaningless accomplishment.

But let’s stay positive here, and assume that the excitement was authentic.

Congratulations to the Sacramento Kings, your 2014 Summer League Champions!

Nothing disingenuous here. A bunch of young ball players won the league they were in. Good for them.

And finally a championship for Sacramento. Likely the only one for some time.

The winning attitude starts early. Good for them.

the winning attitude is what should be important here

The way that franchise has been the past decade they might just hang a banner commemorating this in the rafters.

Nothing wrong with celebrating winning. It’s not like they’re planning a parade.

It would actually bother me if they were being disingenuous because I think that would be more of statement on the team’s attitude toward winning then a few minutes of enjoying it.

This is kinda sad and kinda sweet at the same time

They got a taste of success. Good for then for winning the summer league!
