Orlando’s Aaron Gordon gets a crazy block on a shot from Sixers’ K.J. McDaniels (VIDEO)

Jul 6, 2014, 12:31 AM EDT

Aaron Gordon was selected with the fourth overall pick in this summer’s draft by the Magic, and made a play worthy of it in day one of Summer League action in Orlando on Saturday.

K.J. McDaniels receives the ball on the wing, and does his best to get a shot up to finish the play in transition. But Gordon comes seemingly out of nowhere, and makes a video-game-like play to leap into the air and just grab McDaniels’ shot.

If this guy improves his shot, he’s gonna be amazing…

won’t happen in just one season, but hopefully he does as he has so much potential…

he offers a lot now as it is…

I didn’t realize how big he was. Nice, he should be fun to watch.

I think the Shawn Marion comparison is pretty much spot on.

I don’t remember Marion having the leaping ability Gordon has.

Way too many turnovers for the Magic youngsters in this game but it’s summer league so hopefully they clean it up a bit in the next few weeks. Gordon looks like he can jump through the roof, and Payton seems like he is always in a defensive stance whether he’s back pedaling or going around a screen. They both certainly have talent, as long as they can develop there’s hope.

Orlando had a great draft this year. I said it before they were overlooked a bit. A lot of the big names went to other teams but ORL got some solid players. Magic still need plenty of work but this will improve the roster.

Ah man, that was awesome. Taking candy from a baby. Hopeful he can get some better offense to go with that D.
