Stephen Curry drops 43 at San Francisco pro-am (VIDEO)

Jul 3, 2014, 12:48 PM EDT

NBA defenses can’t slow down Stephen Curry. So what happens when you drop him in a summer, free-for-all pro-am game?

Turns out 43 points, some spectacular passes and a few huge dunks.

Curry dropped by the San Francisco pro-am Wednesday night at the Kezar Pavilion and put on a little show. Here are some highlights courtesy Hoopmixtape with a hat tip to dwizzlesworld.

CSNBayArea.com was there as well and spoke to Curry.

Everyone talks about his shooting and scoring ability (rightly so) but kid’s got great handles and vision as well. He’s really developed into a true star. He was a player I really wanted to see succeed out of college, and even if it’s on a Laker rival, it’s been fun watching him grow into superstar.

Anyone who watches the NBA knows Curry’s the full package offensively. Its why he’s the Mario of the Splash Bros. He got all the game. IMO Luigi (Thompson) isn’t much without him. I think he’s extremely overrated.

At a pro-am? That’s nothing! Last week Ice Cube messed around at a park and got a TRIPLE-DOUBLE!

haaaaaasooooo…..are you laughing at yourself. With that last comment, you should.

You said that last comment as if Steph only performs well in a pro-am game. WELL, he has a Full Time Job ….dropping 3’s on dudes in the NBA!

Maybe you don’t know BUT he’s led the league in 3’s the past 2 years (272 & 261).

He’s only been in the league 4 years and broke the record for 3’s in one year…previously held by Reggie and Ray.

Not sure why you even made that comment……haaaaaasoooooosilly

Hey. Trust me. I’m aware that Steph is the real deal. But this is a report about a stat line in a basketball that doesn’t COUNT! I’m not a Steph Hater. In fact, I think that he is one of the really legit role models in the nba, but a pro-am game? Come on, man!

Let’s not take ourselves so seriously! Especially when blogging on the Tmz of the sports world
