Bulls put signage up outside United Center for Carmelo Anthony’s free agent visit (PHOTOS)

Jul 1, 2014, 2:29 PM EDT

When recruiting star free agents in the NBA, it’s apparently important to help said star envision himself playing in a new situation.

The Bulls are meeting with Carmelo Anthony on Tuesday, the first of recruiting visits that will also include Houston, Dallas and the Lakers, before a final sitdown with Phil Jackson and the Knicks.

The team isn’t leaving anything to chance, and has adorned the United Center with some signage tying Anthony to the Bulls organization.

Joakim Noah was reportedly in attendance as well, no doubt to continue to aid in the recruiting process.

Be even more impressive if cheap Bulls ownership will pay Boozer to sit at home just to make room for Melo.

I’m a bulls fan… but even I know that “signage” is weak sauce! total effort for that was probably less than 15 minutes! talk about cheap! garpax needs to go!

This is cute and amusing. How’s Melo’s poker face while shootin’ the “tihs” with these teams this week, knowing he’s already made up his mind to return?

Bulls just need to focus on Parsons and Meeks and call it a day. These teams all know Melo isn’t leaving New York.

if Rose could stay healthy and they could retain Gibson, would make a very intriguing team…
