Gregg Popovich has a great dry sense of humor that only occasionally reveals itself publicly.

Here it is on full display – along with some heartfelt words for his championship team.

    Pop is one of a kind. the NBA will be a bit less colorful when he finally walks away.

    Mt one wish is when Pop retires he does one end of the quarter interview asking the questions, that would be epic!
    But once he retires I don’t think we will ever hear from him again.

    I think Pop will stay for another 3-5 years. We know Tony doesn’t want him to leave, plus he’s now a father figure to Kawhi Leonard. So I’m thinking he stays even after Timmie and Manu retire.

    So he makes a joke about Kawhi but is this really chiding and is it fair for the headline to describe him as “self-centered”?
