Kawhi Leonard with the huge put-back slam in Game 4 (VIDEO)

Jun 12, 2014, 10:33 PM EST

This one play near the end of a first half dominated by the Spurs tells you all you need to know about what went down over the game’s first 24 minutes.

San Antonio was too quick, too focused and too spry for Miami to deal with, and this put-back slam from Kawhi Leonard showcased all of it, and put the Spurs up by 22 points late in the second quarter with an emphatic exclamation point.

Booing their team after two championships. Unreal. Thats what happens when its all band wagon fans. Wade is playing himself out of Miami tonight.

Looking like the Finals MVP at this point.

    • kb2408 - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:08 PM

Somewhere trying to figure out how he’s going to spin this epic beat down. What about jzone…he’s awfully quiet too.

    • 00maltliquor - Jun 13, 2014 at 2:14 AM

Probably self-medicating, working on his 2nd bottle of whiskey, dolo.

  6. raylewisandhisteeth - Jun 12, 2014 at 10:59 PM

I love that LBJ is supposed to be covering Leonard…nice D, James.

    • nykfanwakemeupin2015 - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:28 PM

LBJ needs to transition to a post game. Looks awfully tired tonight. Cant keep driving relentlessly

  7. bucrightoff - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:08 PM

Kawhi would have caused the arena to implode if he finished that jam on Birdman.

    • misremembered72 - Jun 13, 2014 at 11:21 AM

I gritted my teeth so hard when he went up for that dunk that I think I shattered a few

  8. soflasfinest - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:15 PM

Put your boners away haters. Spurs on are fire. What has your team done lately? Exactly.

  9. infectorman - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:28 PM

Wow! So fun to watch a real deep TEAM school a collection of players

  10. kb2408 - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:30 PM

Maybe I’ll be right in my other prediction too…Kawhi Finals MVP? One more monster game might get it done.

    • soflasfinest - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:39 PM

Wow, 1 outta 10 on your predictions. You want a cookie shaped like Kobe to munch on?

      • kb2408 - Jun 13, 2014 at 12:02 AM

        Whatever, sir…I’m smiling!!

  11. savilo831 - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:35 PM

Hey heat fans, hope your enjoying losing to a real team that has been built and not bought. I think you need to start lobbying for a new big three. Buahahahaaaa!!!!!!

  12. doctorbluff - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:42 PM

That was a nice box out by #6.

And a hell of a finish. Wow.

  13. savilo831 - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:46 PM

Not 1, not 2, not 3 …. 4,5,6,7. Maybe he really meant losses and chips combined

  14. moppop - Jun 12, 2014 at 11:46 PM

Man, Larry Bird really screwed up not keep Kawhi Leonard. Hill is clearly a downgrade.

    • spursareold - Jun 13, 2014 at 8:02 AM

They were never going to keep Leonard, or even draft him. He was picked FOR the Spurs, after a trade for the pick was settled. They already had PG, and Granger was still in All Star form, and a 20 ppg scorer in 2011.

    • the1nonlyk - Jun 13, 2014 at 1:56 AM

thats right the claw aka shuga k get me some yummy leonard!! the new face of the spurs makin his mark n gettin it done!!!

  17. azarkhan - Jun 13, 2014 at 10:32 AM

The best thing about Zen Spurs dunk was his and his teammates reaction. He doesn’t beat his chest or scream or ego trip. He gets back on defense, just like the rest of the Spurs. That’s the essence of Spurs basketball. It’s about team, not individual.
