Trail Blazer players, coach Terry Stotts talk legacy of Dr. Jack Ramsay

The NBA lost a legend Monday, a Hall of Famer, in Dr. Jack Ramsay.

The Portland Trail Blazers and coach spoke about Dr. Jack at their practice Monday.

    Great coach. Great commentator. Great thoughtful man. Huge loss for basketball and his family.

    I think Philly may miss him quite a bit too (since the sub headliner turned this into a grieving competition). Grew up in Upper Darby (right outside philly) graduated public school there, went on to St Joseph’s for undergrad and then Penn for masters and doctorate (Both philly universities). Coached 11 years at St Joes including a final 4. and then moved on to his stint on the sixers.
