James Harden, Damian Lillard duel in Houston’s Game 3 OT win over Blazers (VIDEO)

Apr 26, 2014, 9:30 AM EDT

Troy Daniels was the hero for the Rockets in a season-saving Game 3 win over the Blazers on Friday, and is undoubtedly a great story.

But James Harden and Damian Lillard were the ones that did all the heavy lifting to get us to the point of Daniels’ incredible shot.

Harden continued to be inefficient in this series, but was at least a bit more aggressive in finishing with 37 points, albeit on 35 shots. Lillard continued to impress, finishing with 30 on just 16 shots, while playing 47 minutes to Harden’s 50.

It’s a duel worth revisiting, so check out the best of it in the video clip above.

Different positions but give me Lillard. He has a real chance to be the best pg in the NBA within a couple of seasons.

You give Harden way too much credit here. All he did was throw a ton of crap against the wall, and a little bit of it stuck. Lillard was straight ballin’.

That 6 point swing where Harden flopped and then carried the ball and then hit that 3 was straight up BS. How does this guy get away with this nonsense? Is it because his beard is a good marketing tool for the NBA? I’m running out of explanations

Rockets suck. What an overrated team. Exposed big time as frauds in this series.
