Gerald Henderson rejects Udonis Haslem at the rim (VIDEO)

Apr 23, 2014, 9:15 PM EDT

As we watch Game 2 between the Heat and the Bobcats unfold live, Miami isn’t exactly putting things away, but doesn’t appear to be in all that much danger of losing at the same time.

Nevertheless, Charlotte keeps putting runs together and making comeback attempts to keep the deficit manageable, and Gerald Henderson is more than doing his part.

This rejection at the rim of a Udonis Haslem dunk attempt was just one of Henderson’s highlight plays, from a night where he had a least a couple of others worth revisiting.

I commented earlier that Haslem couldn’t shoot or dunk anymore and got a lot of thumbs-down. Anybody wanna go ahead and shoot me a thumbs-up now?

I agree, Haslem is a relic and the Heat could SERIOUSLY upgrade!

BUT Haslem is one of those locker room guys that hold the teams chemistry in check.

He is more important off-court, that he is on-court.

      1. Boston got rid of Perkins and lost their team identity and failed miserable.

      2. Indiana let Granger go, they have not been the same since. Now guys a fighting in the locker room.

So, while I agree Haslem cant shoot or dunk, the Heat will probably have to make him a player coach, after his playing days/ this year….hahahahaha

See, that’s a clean block. Not that garbage from Plumlee.

And what about that forearm from McBob to LeBron’s throat? Definitely going to be upgraded to a flagrant tomorrow or so. Or should be.

Gerald is a supremely athletic guard but he needs to be more consistent with his jump shot on offense. Defensively he will get up in ya chest and we all saw the hustle he brings every night. Maybe next year he’ll take that step and become a B level SG in the league (hopefully)

    GO CATS!
