Apr 15, 2014, 2:59 PM EDT

Damian Lillard, fresh of signing a massive new contract with Adidas, decides to tempt the basketball gods poke a little fun at players without championship rings in the latest Foot Locker ad. And it’s a good one.

Best part of this is Chris Webber and Karl Malone agreeing to play along.

Awesome. Barkley would have been hilarious in this. I bet he declined because I’m sure they asked him. The mailman is still jacked!

Barkley is still with Nike. He don`t mess with these Adidas clowns

      • calkinsrob - Apr 17, 2014 at 11:04 AM

He has a endorsement deal with Nike? still? that would make sense why he wouldn’t be in this. but why would nike still be paying barkley?

its gonna be funny when someone asks lilliard to join a commercial like this in 15 years

Now that it’s clear you can see in the future, tell me what the numbers to the mega millions will be next week.

I looked into my crystal ball and it said kobe will never win another ring…

Great job. Who cares about tempting the basketball gods. It was funny. Well played adidas

I actually laughed out loud when Karl Malone showed up. Pretty good. Glad these guys can make light of it – life is too short.

That commercial was hilarious. Charles Barkley probably turned it down because he still thinks he has a chance to win one.

Or him being with Nike still ????

It’s fitting that Malone is in charge of the barbecue, I bet that dude can grill a mean steak. Damn, now I’m hungry.

It took me a second cause I still think of LT as Lawrence Taylor but this commercial rocked!

    • southbeachtalent - Apr 15, 2014 at 4:30 PM

amen, only 1 LT in my book.

    • rohlo - Apr 15, 2014 at 5:20 PM

there is also only one LT ladanian tomlinson that didnt get hooked on drugs and participate hooking up other dudes with underage girls like LT lwarence taylor has done!! LT2 is a much better person off the field than coke head LT 1 is,certainly not a role model……

Should have included Dan Marino too.

  10. lakerade - Apr 15, 2014 at 7:49 PM

All four non-ringers give the perfect facial expressions, so funny.

  11. ptownbearsfan420 - Apr 15, 2014 at 8:10 PM

Nice. Good PR move Dame. Not a bad commercial either.

  12. jcrileyesq - Apr 15, 2014 at 9:46 PM

barkley would have been great but probably still getting some nike checks and can’t do adidas… great commercial regardless

  13. 1972wasalongtimeago - Apr 16, 2014 at 8:12 AM

Was it funny? I guess kind of.

Did Lillard just basically seal the deal on a ringless career? Abso-freakin-lutley!

PBT posters might have been amused by the commercial, and props (as well as a nice check I’m sure) go out to the old guys for showing a sense of humor. But the basketball gods don’t have a sense of humor, and if they do it’s a wickedly viscious one and YOU Damien, will be the butt of the joke. Karma is cruel. This was not a good move dude.

It’s amazing that Damian Lilliard is kind of becoming the new face of Addidas. good for him and good commercial

  15. matthewatrombley - Apr 16, 2014 at 6:58 PM

Was it not also cool, Kurt Helin, that Tomlinson and Sanders agreed to be in the commercial?
