Nick Young with ridiculous 360 reverse layup (VIDEO)

Apr 14, 2014, 12:11 AM EDT

If you were a smart NBA fan Sunday night you were watching Portland and Golden State put on one of the best NBA games of the season.

But if you subjected yourself to the Lakers hosting the Grizzlies, at least you got to see this — Nick Young with the insane 360 reverse layup.

It was a highlight for the Lakers, but as you would expect Memphis won and their magic number to clinch a playoff berth is now just one.

If you simply go by Jim Buss’s intent on bringing back the old “Showtime Lakers”, then they would most likely make an effort to retain Young next year. He’s the only one of this current crop that is remotely entertaining.

Shannon Brown sings: Wake up Swaggy I think I got somethin’ to say to you. It’s late in the season and the Lakers ain’ gonna be resignin’ you…

Cuz, you know, they made their made and it’s got really expensive sheets on it.

….. He can score……but he can’t defend anyone and averages 1 assist over his entire career. He’s a 6th man on an average team.

    P SWAGGY!
Got to be one of the top-5 players you would absolutely kill to have on your rec team, but aren’t quite sure you want on your NBA team.
(JaVale McGee, Isaiah Thomas, Brandon Jennings and Jimmer Fredette would round out this season’s starting lineup. Honorable mention to Brandon Jennings, Shannon Brown, Dion Waiters, Hasheem Thabeet, Ricky Rubio, Montae Ellis from last season, and whatever the hell Rondo is doing while he’s trying to play along with the whole tanking thing. JR Smith misses the cut because he’s such an asshat I’m not sure I’d actually want him on my rec team).

Meanwhile the Wizards are like “so glad you’re gone. Now, we’ll be getting ready for the playoffs if you don’t mind!”

Gotta love that Eastern Conference confidence.

Dude, really, comparing the LAKERS with the Wizards?!! Washington hasn’t been good since they were the Bullets.

Sorry to say, but it’s a new day. Need to start living in the present! :-)

    Nice!!

LA needs to keep guys like this who don’t command a huge salary. I thought they should have never let Steve Blake go. That was a huge mistake. Low turn over guy, solid 3-point shooter. Also I think they lost something good when they let Shannon Brown go. I think it has affected his development as well. Guys like these play with heart and on a given night can swing a game for you.
