What Gerald Green would look like in NBA Jam (VIDEO)

Mar 20, 2014, 5:44 PM EDT

This is brilliant.

To be clear, NBA Jam is the greatest NBA video game ever. Without question. And this season (particularly since Eric Bledsoe went down) Gerald Green has been a human highlight machine worthy of NBA Jam.

So the Phoenix Suns put together this video of Gerald Green highlights in NBA Jam form. He’s on fire.

Hat tip to The Starters’ J.E. Skeets.

I remember how HOOKED I was when NBA Jam 1st came out. I also remember the epic “4th quarter D” my older brother would lay on me and crush my soul. Whoever lost had to make the Kool-Aid. Lemme tell you, SNES controllers are BUILT TO LAST, as many times as I used to slam them after a crushing loss.

My teams were the Lakers (big surprise) w/ Vlade and Worthy, and the Hornets w/ Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning (I broke them out when playing stiff competition).

I had NBA Jam on the little Sega handheld they came out with…good times! And how many quarters were lost playing that game in arcades?!
