Bulls’ Mike Dunleavy bloodied by elbow to the face, returns after getting 10 stitches (VIDEO)

Mar 13, 2014, 9:31 PM EST

Midway through the second quarter of Thursday night’s contest between the Rockets and the Bulls, Mike Dunleavy set up to try and take a charge against Houston’s Chandler Parsons.

It turned out to be not the greatest of ideas, as Parsons inadvertently caught Dunleavy with an elbow above the eye that caused a whole lot of blood, and ended up requiring 10 stitches to repair.

Dunleavy returned to star the second half.

Still not 1% as tough as the average hockey player.

This gets really old. Reallllyyyyy old. Are they really that tough if everyone has to constantly throw it in everyone’s face? This is the sports version of “oh, I don’t watch TV” or “oh, I don’t eat meat”. Take that pompous crap out of here.

He got back into the game 100 percent faster than a hockey player would after that type of injury.

Hitting Mike Dunleavy in the face is like when a good craft beer hits you in just the right way.
