Ty Lawson breaks Jodie Meeks’ ankles, drops him with crossover (VIDEO)

Mar 8, 2014, 12:30 PM EST

Because the Lakers haven’t been embarrassed enough lately…

That is Jodie Meeks just getting dropped by Ty Lawson‘s crossover during the Nuggets 134-126 win over the Lakers Friday night in a real defensive struggle. Lawson threw a series of moves at Meeks and got him off balance before dropping the hammer (then making the dish to Timofey Mozgov for the bucket. The play happened just before halftime, when the Nuggets had already put up 73 points, and pretty much typified how things have gone recently for the Lakers.

Lawson finished with 30 points on 22 shots plus he had 17 assists. He now wants to play the Lakers every night.

Hardly even fair to make fun of these guys anymore. The major networks need to take them off the national TV schedule for next year.

        ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!

I want to see EVERY thrashing the Fakers get! It’s kinda like, when the bully get’s his butt kicked.

The bully has been kicking butt and taking names for decades….when he gets the beat-down, you don’t step in and stop the fight.

Let him take it and get ALL the humiliation he has given over the decades….in spades!

        Instead of stopping the fight….pull up a chair…..HAHAHAHAHAHAH !

doesn’t matter if it looks ugly. if you fall, and the shot goes in, that’s all people are going to care about >_>

Meeks is VERY limited as a guard. He is only a guard because he is small.

Dirk (who is a legit 7’0″) has more guard skills than Meeks.

The fact that a guy like Meeks is getting significant playing time, with such limited “FUNDAMENTALS” at that position, substantiates the case that kids need to stay in school or get extended time in the D-League.

the talent level in the NBA is so high, so many players are so highly skilled, that if you diss a player with articles highlighting common occurrences such as Lawson’s, you’ll get pee’d on the next night, Meeks got 42 against OKC.
what’s the author of this article got to say now??
