Bucks’ Ersan Ilyasova suspended one game for punch to Kings’ Reggie Evans (VIDEO)

Mar 7, 2014, 4:25 PM EDT

You can’t do that.

Go ahead and argue that what Milwaukee’s Ersan Ilyasova really did was shove the Kings’ Reggie Evans if you want, you still can’t do that. The two were battling for rebounding position and after the play Ilyasova turned on Evans punch/shoved him and knocked him to the ground. I have checked the NBA Rule Book and you can’t do that.

The league came down on Ilyasova with a one game suspension on Friday for what the league called a punch. Ilyasova is out Friday night when the Bucks face the Pelicans.

If that’s a punch, please refer to me as Vladimir Klitschko from now on.

lol… If that’s a punch, babies would get charged for assault for placing their soft little tiny hands on their parents.

Calling this a punch is baffling…

It is definitely a push, which warrants a suspension, but a punch?! hahahahahaha.

More blatant than the “punch” DeMarcus got suspended for. Good call NBA.

I can’t believe Ersan didn’t fall down too. That’s what he’s best at.

To me it looks like Evans hits Ersan’s groin right before the shove.

Looks to me like there was a little hook down low to the ribs, then came the push.
D cuz didn’t punch anybody.. this actually was a punch

More of a flop than a punch.
