Kareem Abdul-Jabbar reprises “Airplane” role to get you to vacation in Wisconsin (VIDEO)

Mar 4, 2014, 3:32 PM EDT

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is not only a six-time MVP, six-time NBA champion and the guy who scored more points than anyone in the history of the NBA, he also has the greatest supporting actor role in the history of basketball — Roger Murdock in “Airplane.”

“The hell I don’t! LISTEN, KID! I’ve been hearing that crap ever since I was at UCLA. I’m out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes.”

He and Robert Hays reprise their roles to promote Wisconsin travel and the results are pretty awesome.

Hat tip to SLAM.

The best part of that movie was Kitten Natividad bouncing in the Moral Majority t-shirt when the plane experienced turbulence.

    That movie was FUNNY.

Too bad they made another one – it was pathetic, but the movie itself – the 1st one – was hilarious.

Question – after seeing these two clips – how many out there believe that a movie like this could be made again – it wouldn’t get past the PC people. Could you even begin to imagine how Sam and Collins would be made fun of? Could they take it?

We’ve lost our sense of humor and without a sense of humor we’re doomed.
