Blake Griffin drops 36 and 10 on Portland, plus a few dunks (VIDEO)

Feb 13, 2014, 11:29 AM EDT

In the Lamarcus Aldridge vs. Blake Griffin, give the latest round to Griffin.

On points. A lot of points.

Blake Griffin had 36 points and 10 rebounds in a defense optional game (apparently), which played to the Clippers strengths. Los Angeles won the game 122-117.

Griffin had the kind of big numbers, highlight-filled game that had fans voting him an All-Star Game starter.

Nice to see his improvement, good game and not only dunks I thought he was overrated before but not now. With him and Paul I’m sure the clippers have a chance at the finals. Though they need everyone to contribute

When focused I don’t anyone can argue Clippers are a top 3 team in the league. We’ve only had 14 games or so with the team at full strength. The best is yet to come.

It’s like when the Met’s supplanted the Yankees as NY’s team. That didn’t last very long, though.
