Heat, Clippers had “Dunkfest 2014” Wednesday night (VIDEO)

Feb 6, 2014, 3:59 PM EDT

Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers can put on show. LeBron James and the Miami Heat can throw it down with the best of them.

When the two teams got together at Staples Center Wednesday night it was “Dunkfest 2014.” It was an amazing show of athleticism.

The Miami Heat raced out early and held on to get the 116-112 win.

LeBron is probably going to be able to fly even in his mid 30s – like Dr. J. By age 29 guys like MJ, Kobe and Wade had already lost a lot of lift. Kobe and Wade have a good excuse though.

I thought I read somewhere that LeBron, Jordan and another guy (someone help me out here) all tied with the highest vertical jump measured at the NBA combine with 44″.

Lots of repair going on today at the Staples Center.

In the dictionary, under Dunkmaster: Blake Griffin

As long as you can admit that he wouldn’t be alone in the definition area, I can agree with you.

    More like “Zero-DefenseFest 2014”..

Better than the All Star game.
To bad come post season the Clips will still be flying high & playing for the camera,
while the Heat will turn to serious b-ball & play for a championship.
Clips will see another early exit.

Onlyavoice, nice try. You’re seemingly forgetting that we have the #1 rated offense in the league minus our starting front court.

Miami barley managed a win so I wouldn’t go patting yourself on the back. The age of the team showed mightily as the game wore down. Bring the Clippers back to full strength and then we can talk. Until then shut ur pie hole.
