Kevin Martin with a two-handed dunk over Tayshaun Prince (VIDEO)

Feb 1, 2014, 11:00 AM EDT

In the third quarter of Friday’s contest between the Timberwolves and the Grizzlies, a beautifully-executed play led to one of the game’s better highlights.

Kevin Martin makes a backdoor cut, and Ricky Rubio makes a perfect bounce pass. Martin then goes up for the two-handed finish, not bothering to check to see if Tayshaun Prince might get there in time to contest — he could not, so instead, it’s a throw-down that Martin can add to the reel of his personal carer highlights.

Twolves are imploding. Time to make some moves.

      They’re a flawed team.

Martin – very good but won’t do anything but score – can’t play D, pass or rebound
Brewer – very good off the bench but probably not a starting caliber SF in the NBA unless you have other good wing players/PGs
      Love – BEAST
      Pekovic – BEAST

RUBIO is a liability. It’s not going to help when your starting PG shoots 36% from the field in his 3rd season. He has a very slow set shot and he can’t be relied on to stretch the floor and hit 3’s like a Calderon or Chalmers type of player.

Solution: Start Barea for now, who can pass and stretch the floor. Get some defensive 2-way players who can play D and shoot 3s. Budinger is a little overrated and he’s not the answer.
