Carmelo Anthony hits half-court shot on the way to record 62 point performance (VIDEO)

Jan 25, 2014, 12:03 AM EST

Carmelo Anthony finished with a record-setting performance over the Bobcats on Friday, and we should have known something special was in the works after the game’s first 24 minutes.

Anthony had racked up 37 points by halftime, and managed to drain this shot from half-court as the second period buzzer expired.

Team up 37, the punk is still chucking at 7 min mark,
What a bush league punk. Time for a new photo of hisownself over the fireplace, do it when it matters against a real team.

Coach left him in the game. Shooting is what he gets paid for. He earned his check.

bullsheet he came out with 8 minutes left, why don’t you get MSG so you actual make sense with your comment.

Right. We’ll just stop that far in and not let him break a long standing, prestigious record that he, the fans, and the franchise may never get another chance to witness, that may just help a struggling franchise gain back some pride, and in the act of fairness at a point where the game is obviously second fiddle to the once in a lifetime show being put on, just forget about the mountain that was just climbed and stop 10 feet before the top, just because, ya know, losing by 25 is so much better than losing by 30 if he stays in.

Do you really think the Charlotte players were outraged or something? If they were there was a quick fix that would of helped out a whole lot- double teams.

his broke as-s doesn’t have MSG, he just makes
