Nuggets rescind Andre Miller’s suspension. Not that he is getting on the court.

The Denver Nuggets had suspended Andre Miller two games after his consecutive games played streak was snapped at 239 games with a DNP-CD by Brian Shaw — Miller lashed out at his coach on the bench.

Friday the Nuggets chose to rescind that suspension.

But don’t read too much into that, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports — this was really about appeasing an angry (and popular in the locker room) veteran:

This also does not turn down the trade chatter around Miller — he is a solid veteran point guard who could help a lot of teams.

Smart money has him in another uniform after the trade deadline — and those teammates and fans loving him.

uhh, i think andre miller plays for the nuggets, not the raptors…

I think he meant that a convocation of eagles had flown into Nuggets headquarters and ransacked the place, and they couldn’t get them out until someone noticed that the biggest eagle – he seemed to be the leader – was tapping his beak on an iMac screen which had a report of Andre Miller’s suspension… oh nvm.

Unbelievable. Love this site, but the carelessness sometimes is laughable.

Not a Miller fan but that was cold of Shaw to kill off his consecutive games played streak, that was something the old vet hung his hat on.

    Denver Raptors sounds pretty boss.

How dumb are these editors? Jeebus.

    • albertmn - Jan 4, 2014 at 1:50 PM

Do they have editors? I am guessing not.

I’m convinced these typos are intentional. They have to be looking for attention. No way a professional blogger makes this many mistakes

I was out shoveling today…was there a merger announcement with Denver & the Raptors that i missed?

    Raptors?

  12. wingslax35 - Jan 3, 2014 at 10:32 PM

Still says Raptors. Editors still must be on holiday break. Weak.

    They never fix their gaffes

  14. footballgod87 - Jan 3, 2014 at 10:46 PM

They hardly ever fix their gaffes. That’s why I think it’s on purpose

I thought he got traded, so the Raptors told him he wasn’t suspended anymore…..

    All because of the headline.

  16. vikesdynasty - Jan 4, 2014 at 12:21 AM

    I did too lol

  17. dare9498 - Jan 4, 2014 at 12:43 AM

Maybe he is talking about the Andre Miller who got traded to the Raptors in his franchise mode of NBA 2k14. The real Andre Miller of the Nuggets is still suspended two games.

The Raptors brass said, “Oh no you don’t!”

In my business, this headline is the precise reason two sets of eyeballs look at a document. Just sad…..it’s called proof reading you clowns.
