Once again you, dear readers, were the programmers for this edition of the PBT Podcast — myself and Eyton Shander of NBC Sports Radio took your twitter questions and tried to answer them.

What you care about this week are trades and the draft.

With that we talk about how the Lakers aren’t looking to make a trade to bring in a point guard — but they might be looking to trade Pau Gasol. We try to find a good home for Omer Asik but not sure Houston will like what they are offered.

Then we turn our attention to the NBA Draft and how the young freshman phenoms like Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker are looking. We ask the expert, Rob Dauster of NBC’s CollegeBasketballTalk, just how these guys are playing to start the season.

Lakers don’t want Asik’s contract (they would be out of the running for a max player this summer) and Houston already should know that Howard /Gasol front court doesn’t mesh well…dumbest fake trade I’ve heard this off-season

Send Pau to the Heat – where he will be appreciated as the All Star he is. LBJ will ensure he can play in the post, where he wants to be and where the Heat need a presence.

    l.a doesn’t like big men:
    l. obviously doesn’t think Big Men can be a part of their success :
    1. Ran off Shaq
    2. D-12 Never wanted to go there, in the first place
    3. Now they are making one of the most skilled 7’0″ true Big Men, that has a post game….they are making dude look like a scrub…..and shifting the blame to him.

Playing in the Heat’s system and with “UNSELFISH” teammates, Pau will average 20-25 points a night!

The Heat’s biggest challenge in the East is Indy because of Roy Hibbert. Hibbert can’t check Pau! And because of Pau’s length and the Heat’s rotating defense to help Pau, the Hibbert factor will be nullified.

The Heat will restore Pau’s greatness, while strolling to another Chip!!!

P.S. I’m sure the Heat will GLADLY package both of their championship point guards (Chalmers & Cole) with Haslem, Battier and another expiring contract bench player, to make the numbers work.

The lakers don’t want Pau and he wants out……….Buss call Riley! I’m sure he will take your call…ahahahaha
