Fan wanders onto court while game is going on during Cavaliers-Clippers (VIDEO)

Remember last season when an idiot fan in Cleveland ran into the court during live game action? Apparently, there are plenty more like him in that lovely city.

During the second quarter of Saturday’s contest between the Cavaliers and the Clippers, we once again had a fan walk onto the court while the game was being played.

This time, he managed to stay out there for almost an entire possession before being apprehended by arena security.

There were some reports of this person wearing a “Kyrie Don’t Leave” T-shirt, but that seems more like a parody of the fan last time that wore a similar sentiment regarding LeBron James, and the hope that he might return to Cleveland next season in free agency.

No matter what was on this person’s shirt, they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and those details need to be made public to deter people from engaging in this extremely foolish and dangerous behavior in the future.

    “Fullest extent of the law”

Yea, we should do a lot of things like putting the entire big wigs who caused the collapse of the housing market in jail too.

I feel this is minuscule compared to the people who DONT get charged to the fullest extent of the law. Sure hes drunk. But look at the seats he had. Hes already paid enough to be front row at a Cavs game.

It seems that some people are confused as to what “Fullest extent of the law” actually means.
This would be in reference to the fullest extent of THIS law.
No one is suggesting giving the jerk a 5 year prison sentence.
He will be charged with disorderly conduct and maybe pay a fine and that will be the end of it.

A lot of overreacting here and even sympathy for a turd that needs to grow up leads me to believe that some of you identify with him and would love to do the exact same thing if given the chance.
A stupid obsession with 15 minutes of fame or getting on Youtube is lame at best.
      “Look at me!”
      “Look at me!”
      “Look at me!”

Cleveland is a joke. Worse city in the entire U.S. I rather live in Africa, with the wild animals outside.

    • mustangs2 - Dec 7, 2013 at 10:20 PM

      What an all-around ignorant comment.

      • legend30 - Dec 7, 2013 at 10:53 PM

I could careless what you say. This city is ignorant.

      • legend30 - Dec 7, 2013 at 11:02 PM

There’s honestly no reason to live in Cleveland. I was being serious, I would much rather live with wild animals, at least they will keep me entertain, unlike, Cleveland where you have to deal with ignorant people. You must live in Cleveland, I’m glad their sports teams are cursed, they deserve it! ARE YOU ENTERTAINED!? (Gladiator)

      • tampajoey - Dec 7, 2013 at 11:28 PM

@legend30… Yes, we’re all entertained by your stupidity.

CP was ready to fight, Giffin backed up like dude pulled out a gun!!!

    • peterjohnjoseph - Dec 7, 2013 at 10:48 PM

Well, usually when crazy people wander into places that they’re not supposed to be, without any sign of fear, is pulling out a gun really that big of a stretch?

  4. lhollis74 - Dec 7, 2013 at 10:07 PM

Lol! That was mean, but hilarious! I mean, it is ohio and all.

  5. timcast12 - Dec 7, 2013 at 10:09 PM

    Let the man be

  6. detectivejimmymcnulty - Dec 7, 2013 at 10:19 PM

Everyone knows the best way to get players to stay is for crazy people to run on the court rocking a “Player X don ‘t leave shirt.” It’s guaranteed to work.

  7. jamesk2465 - Dec 7, 2013 at 10:24 PM

lmao at Griffins reaction. Charles Barkley was right your toughest player can’t be 6’1

  8. deathtoinanimatethings - Dec 7, 2013 at 11:31 PM

Oh great. How long is it until Coach Kidd hires a fan to “run” onto the court at the end of a close game?

  9. timberwolvesbrisin - Dec 8, 2013 at 12:18 AM

“Prosecuted to the full extent of the law”

Lol. Chill out. He didn’t attack anyone. Slap him with a disorderly and don’t give him attention. Oops, that’s what you’re doing, which only encourages it.

    • apkyletexas - Dec 8, 2013 at 2:22 AM

“Prosecuted to the full extent of the law”

      – Yeah – what we really need to do is to build more jails for more people who haven’t hurt anyone or caused any damage to anything. Because our social order could fall apart if people were allowed to interrupt Cleveland Cavaliers games.

  10. antistratfordian - Dec 8, 2013 at 1:04 AM

LeBron’s echo is still reverberating through the Q. When he goes back, some will say he never really left.

  11. phillysports1 - Dec 8, 2013 at 1:59 AM

You feel guilty after your senseless comment . Africa though ? Rude

    • mydoghasfleez - Dec 9, 2013 at 10:45 AM

Many American cities you could move to & have wild animals outside.

  12. davidly - Dec 8, 2013 at 6:17 AM

Is it me, or does the opening paragraph here come off as slimy, sarcastic unwarranted contempt for an entire town and its inhabitants?

    • tampajoey - Dec 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM

Yep, Brett Pollakoff is showing off his ignorance categorizing an entire city over some fools stunt with his sarcastic “lovely” cheap-shot comment.

Hey Brett… “It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt” ~ Mark Twain.

    • 22yearsagotoday - Dec 8, 2013 at 11:33 AM

It comes off as nonsensical gibberish from a drunk.

  13. janessa31888 - Dec 8, 2013 at 7:26 AM

We do have to be slightly idiotic to keep rooting for these bad teams we have. Its either laugh or cry and crying gets old after 50 years.

    • ocgunslinger - Dec 8, 2013 at 11:58 AM

Would you rather root for them or see them move to another city?

  14. brianjoates - Dec 8, 2013 at 10:25 AM

If kyrie wants to have a chance to win a championship he is going to have to go to another franchise. I am sure Cleveland has passionate fans…but they have a terrible owner…yes, he is a schmuck. He blasted the best player in the league after he made him millions upon millions of dollars. Gilbert screwed up because he was losing his cash cow. LeBron is not going back to Cleveland, players want to go play with him in Miami.-that’s his town now.

  15. logicalcomment - Dec 8, 2013 at 10:38 AM

hahaha c paul was like: WTF u doin here ??

  16. 00maltliquor - Dec 9, 2013 at 2:36 AM

I replayed this over and over like 10 times, the reaction from Griffin vs. The reaction from Paul….priceless!!

  17. rodyaugu - Dec 9, 2013 at 10:21 AM

Noticed Griffin cautiously stepped away from the kid after he opened up his jacket. he must have thought that crazy kid was going to detonate a bomb or pull out a gun or something. maybe it’s me being paranoid.
