John Wall with the breakaway 360-dunk against Lakers (VIDEO)

Nov 26, 2013, 11:16 PM EDT

It isn’t enough that players in the middle of a game are capable of performing these types of acts; it’s important to recognize the presence of mind required to create this particular kind of highlight.

John Wall improvised with this uncontested 360-dunk on Tuesday, in a play that was equal parts creative and athletic during the Wizards’ 116-111 win over the Lakers.

Watching him this year it just seems like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders.

He should have passed it up ahead

Lakers played poorly defensively, but nice win by the Wiz. Nene had a nice game too.

Look at Ariza taking off, expecting a pass…. nope. Maybe next time.

    That was awful.

Don’t get me wrong, that was a sick dunk. Really shows he may be the best athlete in the NBA.

    BUT…

The Wizards need new commentators. That was miserable. They sounded depressed, as if John Wall just missed an open layup instead of making a wild break away 360 jam.

It’s part of your job to make things exciting. I know being a Wizards fan mustn’t be the most exciting or joy inducing activity, but seriously…

Good win! I hope we can get on a roll now. Go Wizards!
