Brandon Jennings with off-the-backboard alley-oop to Andre Drummond (VIDEO)

Here is an early “Dunk of the Year” candidate.

Detroit made a point of running on the Lakers “transition defense” on Sunday night (the Lakers did the same thing to the Pistons) and the result was some very entertaining dunks in an otherwise sloppy game. This was the best one — Brandon Jennings off the backboard to Andre Drummond for the alley-oop dunk.

That was fun.

The highlight is that Jennings passed the ball

No way the Pistons can keep both Drummond and Monroe long term, right? I like their respective games. In the meantime, that Jordan Hill balls hard.

First time I’ve seen the “Motor City” alternate-moniker jerseys. Maybe the Lakers could go with “Cadillac Desert”.
