Check out trailer from “All Wifed Out” with Metta World Peace (VIDEO)

Nov 17, 2013, 3:30 PM EDT

We’ve told you before Metta World Peace has a cameo playing himself in a movie that came out this weekend — “All Wifed Out.”

Courtesy the movie marketing team and Ball Don’t Lie, above here is a clip.

The joke is this plays off David Stern’s worst memory as commissioner — the Malice in the Palace where Metta (then Ron Artest) and other Pacers went into the stands to fight Pistons fans after someone threw a beer on World Peace. Now that happens and hilarity ensues. I guess. For everyone but Stern it’s been long enough to consider the incident funny.

As a Laker fan, I dreaded the words Metta for three. Now, I get to sit back and laugh every chance I hear it. The Lakers still suck, but man oh man am I glad he is gone. Thanks for game 7 though Ron.

What? The Lakers got pretty good value out of MWP last year.

Come on, don’t be that Lakers fan who can only follow the ball and only cares about basic stats. Someone had to play recovery defense when Kobe blew his assignments last year.

I miss MWP. He played with a ton of energy and you could tell the difference defensively when he was on the court. He wasn’t worth the money he was getting but he was a good player for the Lakers.

I don’t agree at all. They were not good on defense last year and he is a year older and slower. Obviously he is concentrating on his music more than basketball so again I am glad he’s gone. This years team is bad but they’re the most entertaining Lakers team for a few years. If you’re going to suck, than damn it you better be entertaining. Ron wasn’t entertaining, he was frustrating to watch.

Remember when he hit Harden in the head. How do you replace that?

Only in America can a professional athlete get a film role glorifying his role as a thug. That said, I love Metta World Peace since he changed his name. After all, you change your name you’re a changed man…whadaya mean “no”?

Video doesn’t work, so I’ll just assume the video shows Ron-Ron hopping up into the stands to drop an unscheduled beat-down on unarmed ticket-holders, only to find a couple dozen attendees happen to be CCR’s, who unleash a hailstorm of Glockfire. Artest takes 40-50 lethal hits, and dies dramatically, just as he lived. An additional 30 unarmed extras die, heroically, due to their proximity to the target.

No estimate as to when the film depiction of the slaughter will be sensationalized by star-actor Brad Pitt and celebrity wife-actor Angelina Jolie to the silver screen, as film rights for the untargeted victims are still under dispute. BUT TMZ WILL BE THERE.

The DeAndre Jordan “welcome to the club” video on Friday was about 1,000 times funnier.
