Jonas Valanciunas dunks on LeBron James (VIDEO)

Nov 6, 2013, 10:06 AM EST

With Chris Bosh home with his wife and new baby, the Toronto Raptors tried to pound the ball inside on the smaller Heat and make them pay Tuesday night — Jonas Valanciunas had 10 first quarter points and led the Raptors with 18. He did an excellent job of just being bigger and stronger than everyone else on the court.

That includes throwing this one down over LeBron James.

LeBron still had the last laugh — he finished with 35 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists, plus Miami won — but Valanciunas had his moment.

So the Raptors are doing very well early pounding the ball inside to Jonas who rightfully can dominate the weak Miami front line. So what does Casey do after that? Matchup small ball against the best small ball team in the league. Absolutely horrible coaching on his part.

He’s just happy he didn’t get posterized

Sometimes even great players get schooled.

He didn’t get schooled. Jonas is more than 7 feet tall and James did everything he could to prevent the dunk, it was just a hustle play by James, most of the ‘great’ players would just step away.

Oh hush. He got dunked on. He’s still a great player, 9 out of 10 times he makes a great play on the ball, he just happened to get caught on that 1 time.

Really, Kurt? lol smh…He got dunked ON?? Some of you haters are just embarrasing. Maybe this is the wrong tape….or maybe you dont know what getting dunked ON looks like. Since youve never done anythng athletic in your life LOL. Stop Hating on the greatest player in the league.

So you say I hate LeBron… you need to talk to the other commenters on this site so you can all come to a consensus.

I never denied that he got dunked on, just praising his effort, and because of the height difference i think that is not schooling. Dunk itself was pretty decent, yes.

    • asimonetti88 - Nov 6, 2013 at 3:50 PM

He gave it a go, there was the effort, but he got beat. It happens. Like I said, 9 times out of 10 it’s LeBron making the play.

Of course this wasn’t on ESPN Highlights today.
