Evan Fournier, JaVale McGee know their Mario Kart sounds

Oct 21, 2013, 1:10 PM EDT

One of the beautiful things about basketball is it brings people together — different races, religions, nationalities, different everything can be unified by playing the game. It gives people a common bond.

Same with Mario Kart.

At least that’s true for Nuggets teammates Evan Fournier of France and JaVale McGee, who was born in Flint, Michigan and played his high school ball near Chicago.

Once again, JaVale McGee wins at Instagram.

Hat tip to Lang at All Ball.

How come I never see an article about McGee working on his basketball skills?

@eugenesaxe1 – I can tell you from a DC perspective (I live in DC), when McGee was in DC, there weren’t any stories about him working on his game. I think JaVale’s reputation is earned at this point in his career.

I know, I used to live in the DC area. I’m just glad Denver re-signed him before Portland took a shot at him.
