Dwight Howard finishes a couple of alley-oops in Taiwan exhibition (VIDEO)

Oct 13, 2013, 9:30 PM EDT

Jeremy Lin wasn’t the only one putting on a show in the Rockets’ preseason win over the Pacers in Taiwan.

Dwight Howard finished a couple of alley-oop dunks, the second one being the more impressive of the two on the pass from Terrence Jones and the quick hops from Howard to catch it and finish.

Howard finished with 10 points, six rebounds, two assists, and a couple of blocked shots in Houston’s 107-98 victory.

On the second dunk he was in the paint for 6 seconds.. enough time that he should have had two 3 in the keys called on him.

Paul George can’t be letting a center embarrass him like that.

It was on a rebound, so there was no violation.

It would be nice if the Rockets, in their first home game against the Lakers, gave the team some sort of tribute for doing the dirty work of extracting Howard from Orlando and paying him to heal and get into shape so he can hop around the lane for them.

Jerry Buss was a great owner for the Lakers, but it’s the Rockets that should have a memorial patch for him on their uniforms. If he’d still been in charge in L.A. then Houston might have actually had to give up something for Howard. I know Dr. Buss would have considered trading for Howard for about five seconds before flushing that idea down the can. He wouldn’t put up with Shaq’s diva act and Shaq actually won something.
