Metta World Peace forgot what team plays in Toronto (VIDEO)

I think a lot of fans would be shocked at how some players are far from students of the NBA. They may have an intuitive understanding of how to play the game at a high level on the court, but knowledge of the league would surprise you.

Metta World Peace is not usually one of those guys (he’s smarter than you think)… except he told MSG networks he couldn’t remember what team the Knicks were going to Toronto to play Friday night. Classic.

At least he had a good laugh about it.

I had forgotten what the Toronto team was called too. I frequently say that if he doesn’t play better he’ll be traded to Toronto, but I couldn’t tell you their name or one of the players name. They’re so bad they shouldn’t have a name. But the Thunder sometimes lose to Toronto. Why? Who the heck knows.

World Peace is a really good player, but he has the added attraction of keeping the other team distracted and focused on him. You can never tell when World Peace will go off and clober one of your guys.

I think World Peace is great. We all want World Peace, don’t we (except for the war mongers) ?

But does he know Toronto’s in another country? Considering he has gone through customs at the airport there, I think he does.
