Check out this 360 dunk to shatter a backboard (VIDEO)

To answer your question, that is Roscoe Johnson of the Harlem Wizards, a 6’3″ guy with hops who has dunks all over the YouTube. But you’d be hard pressed to find a better one than this.

I’ll say this again — if you want to liven up the All-Star Weekend dunk contest, let a few of the pro dunk guys in the mix. I don’t care if they didn’t play in the NBA, this is a dunking exhibition.

Hat tip to The Big Lead.

Looks like a high school gym, and the rim didn’t appear to break away/give much at all, so not much surprise the backboard shattered.

The NBA dunk contest pretty much peaked when Spud Webb was a contestant, and it’s been a slow decline since then. Just like the home run isn’t MLB’s most exciting play, the dunk isn’t the NBA’s either, but until the NBA finds a way to have a no-look-behind the back pass to a cutter in the lane contest, this is what we get.

    Damn, son.
