Derrick Rose reminds us that ‘basketball is everything’ in latest adidas spot (VIDEO)

Oct 1, 2013, 8:46 PM EDT

Derrick Rose has been consistent in his message throughout his video spots with adidas, and this latest clip is no exception.

Rose reminds us that after family, basketball is everything to him, and all the things that come with it — the money, the fame, and the lifestyle — will never have anything to do with his overall passion for the game.

Fans can join the “Basketball is Everything” and Derrick Rose conversation at the adidas Basketball Facebook Page and on Twitter and Instagram with @adidashoops #DRose4.

Some players say things like that and don’t really mean it. I don’t think Rose is one of those players. Just watch him play. He never does not give maximum effort.

Uh… oh nvm… let’s just pretend like last year never happened.

He has no heart. Screw him. |)ussy din’t play. Didn’t even try. No heart.

His teammates and the vast majority of other players know that sitting out last season was the best thing for his career and for the future of the Bulls. You must really be a joy to be around.

        Blah blah blah…
        yadda yadda yadda…

Rose was coming out before every game in full uniform, shot around with his team, told reporters that “it could be this game or it could be the next game, we’ll see” – but he always came back out for the game in a suit.

In my professional opinion, Rose was simply paralyzed by fear. He could’ve overcome that by seeing a sports psychologist but he didn’t. So he just sat there on the bench – the healthiest player on his team – while his banged up teammates valiantly fought their way through the playoffs.

“In your professional opinion”? Are you a psychologist? Or just the Dr. Phil of PBT?

“Derrick Rose reminds us that ‘basketball is everything”… unless he stubs his toe. Then his toe is everything!
