Nobody in Japan can stop Derrick Rose 1-on-1, not even Samurai

Sep 9, 2013, 11:23 AM EDT

Derrick Rose was in Japan this weekend, part of his swing through parts of Asia to sell some shoes.

While in Japan, he just breaks a bunch of guys down off the dribble one-on-one… and then beats three Samurai to the rack.

To be fair, the Samurai armor was not designed with lightning quick lateral movement in mind. And they were not allowed to use their swords.

I look forward to seeing D-Rose back on the court this preseason putting those kinds of moves on NBA players. The NBA is much more fun when he is in it.

Samurais are notoriously bad on defense. Everyone knows that. It’s good to see Rose back on a court.

Yeah, he didn’t even have his Katana drawn…

Now let us see the sales spike of the shoe sales after the event!

He’s looking really good and not as scrawny as before. I can’t wait to see him pick up where he left off.

He wasn’t scrawny, maybe his rookie year, but dude is bigger than you think, when u see him in person

Not even a handful of people in the states can stop Rose so I’m sure no one in Japan has a chance! He’s just toying with them.

Quoted for truth. I don’t care which team you root for, Derrick Rose is something special. Him, Chris Paul, LeBron… all guys you have to see with your own eyes to really appreciate and guys we’ll be telling our grandkids we watched.

Looks good, gonna have to get the Bulls back on the league pass this year.

Can’t wait till Rose and Kyrie face off this year, circle that date.

Kyrie can’t stop Rose. Not even close. There is only one team I’ve even seen shut himdown, and that was with team defense. MIAMI!!!! No one can stop this dude one on one.
