Chandler Parsons pretty much owns Orlando pro-am (VIDEO)

Sep 5, 2013, 12:41 PM EDT

Watch just 20 seconds of this video and it becomes clear Chandler Parsons is by far the best athlete on the court. And he can pretty much do whatever he wants in this game.

So he does.

Parsons, a Florida native, pretty much owns the Orlando Summer League here. Since it’s summer these are the highlights you get. Parsons took a big step forward last season (his second) averaging 15.5 points a game as a starter for the Rockets. Him blending in with James Harden and Dwight Howard as a scoring threat in the offense will be important for the Rockets going forward, but that is a team with a lot of meshing to do.

For now, he just wants to own a game, apparently.

Hat tip to SLAM.

Dude can ball and he’s playing for peanuts…

He’s only halfway through a 4 yr deal worth only $3.6 million, so obviously less than $1 million a season…

Compare his stats last yr to many others and well the team is making out like a bandit…

He is NOT better than these guys, but I’m just letting some of his stats be known from last yr vs. others.

    Parsons .486% FG percentage
Kobe .463% FG percentage Actually Kobe’s career best FG% is only .469%
    Melo .449% FG percentage

    Parsons .385% 3 pt percentage
    Kobe .324% 3 pt percentage Actually Kobe’s career best 3 pt % is .383%
    Melo .379%

Again NO, Parsons IS NOT better than these guys… My only point is to point out that he’s providing a lot to the team vs. what he is making…

He is one of the guys that should appear on the all under paid list is all I’m saying…

And he’s only played two seasons… he could/should improve yet…
