Watch John Wall make it rain in a D.C. club

Aug 26, 2013, 3:43 PM EDT

It’s nice to be a max player.

Even though John Wall‘s new $80 million deal doesn’t kick in for a year he’s doing just fine financially. How do we know? Well, for one he was at Stadium night club in D.C. Saturday and was making rain. Which of course ended up on Instagram.

You can read into this if you want, I don’t think it means anything. Frankly, pretty much everyone who complains about this behavior would have done worse if they were 22 and wealthy.

Hat tip to the legendary Dan Steinberg at The Sports Bog for finding this… we assume he found this and wasn’t at Stadium that night.

Next up on ESPN 30 for 30: Broke…

I doubt he’s going to go broke from throwing out maybe $100. Just a way to show some Wizards fans a good time.

I’m still waiting for the ESPN 30 for 30 film: The Butt-fumble

There is no such thing as an African American. They are black Americans.

Got this feeling he will be taking his talents to China in 3-5years.

Was it anyone else, or did it look like his heart wasn’t in it?

Wow what a baller. You look like a huge dork throwing your singles on the floor.

Throwing $100 notes is stupid. Throwing $1 notes is cheap, and still stupid.

  8. loyalraven - Aug 26, 2013 at 11:46 PM

“$100 notes” sounds just as stupid as the point you were trying to make…

Nothing like boobs and booze to make a young man part with his cash.

And they wonder why they go broke after retiring from the NBA

And some idiots think basketball players are underpaid.
