It’s Reggie Miller’s birthday, here are some of his career highlights

Aug 24, 2013, 3:30 PM EDT

Reggie Miller was one of the sickest shooters to ever play the game, and this video of some of his carer highlights gives you a sense of what he was all about.

The favorites here are the clutch shooting against the Knicks, and the shove of Michael Jordan before hitting a three at the buzzer to win a playoff game against the Bulls.

Miller played 18 NBA seasons, all for the Indiana Pacers, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012. He turned 48 years old today.

I remember some time ago arguing with my buddy who is a big Pacers fan. He said that the only guard better than Miller in the 90s was Jordan. I argued with him for a while but really couldnt come up with guys I rather take. Gary Payton maybe? John Stockton? I guess you could say his era overlapped with Iverson. He was well past his prime by the time Kobe was really becoming a big-time NBA player.

Him torturing the Knicks in the playoffs is some of my favorite basketball moments.

The GREATEST shooter of ALL TIME!! He did when it mattered the most.. The postseason!! Outside of Jordan, nobody torched John Starks more!!!

Not denying that, but his commentary does suck.

“You have GOT….. to be …KIDDING ME” “Click Click – Get ready for your Kodak moment”

      Hard to listen to.

Hey Reggie, I hear Jason Collins is a free agent & you seem to play the part for the perfect ‘teammate’

    Reggie is the man.

The Pacers now are a team that could have gotten him a ring, and he was the player they needed to get one now. Sucks.

He would have won at least 1 championship if MJ was never born. But…too bad, so sad.
