Isaiah Thomas shows off moves, drops 49 at Seattle pro-am

Jul 29, 2013, 12:52 PM EDT

We already brought you some Jamal Crawford and Tyreke Evans highlights from the Seattle pro-am.

So how about some more from Seattle native Isaiah Thomas. He dropped 49 in his game and put on a ball handling display that shows why the Kings have a good one-two punch at the point (with Greivis Vasquez).

Hat tip to SLAM and Ball is Life.

Tacoma native. He’s not from Seattle but we claim him anyway

Kids got game. I wish he could just play but always has had competition for minutes. Tyreke, Aaron brooks, some jimmer, now Vasquez who also can play but he ain’t no game changer

Tyreke hasn’t played 1 in a couple of years now, Thomas outplayed Brooks to the point that Brooks got waived, Jimmer has never been anything more than a bench warmer with some occasional “that’s nice” plays although he DID take a huge leap between year 1 and 2. Thomas was the starting PG on the Kings but let’s be real he’s a 5’9″ guard who plays like a 2. You’re only getting so far when it comes to driving to the rim at 5’9″ and he’d be a much better player if he stopped trying to do it as much.

Thomas is exactly the same height as Seattle native Nate Robinson but outweighs him by 5 lbs. Wonder if he is as much of a beast as Robinson. Ask Chris Paul, who chose not to engage Nate at the risk of getting his ass kicked.
