Alan Anderson Is a 30-year-old (31 early next season) guard who can knock down open outside shots and provide depth to a team that pictures itself a contender.

Say… the Brooklyn Nets.

Anderson has reached a deal with Brooklyn, something tweeted out by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, then confirmed by Anderson himself (if you can trust him as a source… I kid, I kid).

Anderson will be on the bench behind Joe Johnson and Jason Terry. He’s not going to get a lot of run, but he’ll be solid when he does; he’s a career 34.9 percent shooter from three. It’s a two-year deal. Not a game changer, but a solid pickup.

Love this pickup for the nets. This guy is a very good team player, plays hard, plays defense, can score when he needs to. Perhaps most important is that it will allow them to rest pierce throughout the season.

nets continue to make savvy moves. cool that this team, as stacked as it is, still managed to retain reggie evans. talk about depth.

He’ll drive you nuts at tines because he often goes into Kobe mode but doesn’t have the athleticism to do it consistently(ironically, due to age this kind of applies to Kobe himself now). However, he’s a very hard worker that you’ll never catch slacking off and he can actually take over the game when he’s hot. Good fit overall because he won’t be depended on as much as he was with the Raptors, where we often had a love/hate relationship but overall appreciated what he brought to the team.

I think everyone would be happy to go to Brooklyn right now.. Brand new franchise w a very promising roster.

I personally think AA is better than Jason Terry at this point of their careers. My prediction is AA will get more minutes than JT.
