Metta World Peace says he plans to change his name again

Jul 26, 2013, 1:57 AM EDT

Metta World Peace poses for a photo during NBA media day for the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team in Los Angeles Reuters

He’s had enough of World Peace, time to move on. I guess.

Just before the season started in 2011 then Laker Ron Artest has his name legally changed to Metta World Peace.

Now, before he starts his first season with the New York Knicks, he’s going to do another name change. To what? I have no idea. But that is what he told Clevver News (via ESPNNewYork.com).

“We are going to do a name change, but I can’t tell you what it is.”

He also said this would not be a legal name change — as he did to move from Artest to World Peace — so on the back of his Knicks jersey will be World Peace. But he will want to be called Art Vandelay. Or Hank Chinaski. Or Zorro or whatever it is.

Whatever it is, welcome to having World Peace — or whatever it is — on your team, New York.

Brothas dont watch Seinfeld….or Friends. Should’ve gone with something that fits the demographic better. Something like Jeromy Rome or Bruh Man or Rollo something like that.

Well, I know some brothas watch friends when channel surfing late night TV. Those girls were hot! And maybe Jennifer Aniston is not as hot as Angelina Jolie, but, she’s still super cute. Now Seinfield, well…, brothas don’t B watchin’ dat, and since Michael Richards’ (“Kramer’) racist outburst nervous breakdown on stage in L.A. in 2006, we’ve been even less inclined to watch that show, but Friends, those women are easy on the eyes…you knw.., for late night channel surfing.
