Tyler Hansbrough doesn’t exactly sound pumped to be a Raptor (VIDEO)

Jul 16, 2013, 4:07 PM EDT

Tyler Hansbrough is EXCITED to be a Toronto Raptor…

After the Pacers brought in Chris Copeland and let Hansbrough walk, he landed a two-year deal with the Raptors for just over $5 million (second year not guaranteed). Not a bad pickup for Toronto, he brings some toughness and minutes at the four off the bench.

But he didn’t exactly live up to the Psycho T nickname in this video. Not that he hadn’t done a ton of media and other things that day before being thrown in front of a camera and told “introduce yourself to Raptors fans… now.” We don’t expect you to go Dwight Howard over the top here, but how about a little effort here.

Hat tip to The Big Lead.

It did seem like he was about to cry as soon as the camera cut off. I feel for you Tyler.

Boohoo your making millions of dollars to play a kids game… There are worst places in the world to live than Toronto too

slow news day? I suppose you would have been on him if he jumped up and down and talked about how great the team was going to be this year.

That wasn’t fair…they should have let him wake up first.

That face at the end was just perfect.

Nothing beats Kaman and Gordon’s face at their introductory press conference in New Orleans.

There are not many better places to live than Toronto. Indy sure isn’t one of them.

Move the franchise to the US. No elite players will EVER sign in Toronto.

    • lucifershuttlesworth - Jul 16, 2013 at 10:54 PM

Great idea dude. Why would you move a profitable team away from the 3rd largest market in the league and where would they go? Kansas City? Virginia Beach? How could you even suggest that move? Oh ya i forgot – USA!! USA!! USA!!

      • hojo20 - Jul 17, 2013 at 8:03 AM

Yeah it’s so great up there that Marcus Camby wants out of town, right away.

      • leafers1919 - Jul 17, 2013 at 11:39 AM

hojo20- Him wanting to leave was strictly based off of the fact that the Raptors are not currently contenders for a championship, not because of the city. I’d rather live in Toronto than most of the garbage trashy states America has to offer.

    • khmerog - Jul 19, 2013 at 4:52 PM

You are a retard..Camby wants to play for a contender is why he doesn’t want to play for Toronto. Good thing you don’t run a business..
