James Harden throws down alley-oop from The Game (VIDEO)

Jul 15, 2013, 2:54 PM EDT

The Drew League is so much fun — ballers (pros and amateurs) and rappers and a whole lot of the Los Angeles basketball scene show up and just have a good time playing the game.

Which leads to highlights like The Game throwing the alley-oop to Los Angeles’ own James Harden for the dunk. Harden showed off a few other moves as well that the crowd loved.

If you missed it, DeMar DeRozan had some big dunks as well.

Thanks to Dan Devine of Ball Don’t Lie for finding this.

That dribble move was sick. Felt sad for defender.

NBA fans are so lucky to have James Harden. Dude is up there with Rubio, LeBron, Chris Paul, Tony Parker, Kobe after-Germany-before-ACL-tear, and Durant: guys that, if you REALLY get the game, it doesn’t even matter what you think of the rest of the team, you know you are watching something special. That ain’t a top 10 list and I’m not picking a fight here, just from a pure “holy crap what did I just see” perspective where you feel like you are in on a well kept secret when you’re seeing them having a great night.

Why is Rubio even in your comment? Rubio?

    • rickditka - Jul 15, 2013 at 6:12 PM

Rubio might be the most spectacular

Tough crowd. Why so many thumbs down to the adoombray comment. He’s spot on. Maybe you can add in a few other players, but he’s right. It isn’t a top 10 list…

Have you not seen Rubio play?
Sometimes the most jaw dropping plays are passing from PG’s ala Rubio, Paul, Rondo, Nash
