The Golden State Warriors were the test team last season for new, sleeved NBA jerseys designed to be more marketable to the average fan.

As many as five teams will be wearing the new-look tops next season, and we’ll even see some versions of them in July’s upcoming Summer League.

Scott Agness of Pacers.com has some additional details:

The Pacers will sport a new look in their summer league games, which begin on Sunday in Orlando. They will experiment with adidas’ adizero short sleeve NBA Uniform System.

Instead of the usual reversible practice jerseys with their names added to the back, the Pacers will be wearing white and black short-sleeve jerseys. Navy blue wasn’t available when teams were required to order.

The darker color makes these look more appealing than the Warriors’ version, but like everything, this will come down to money. If fans buy up the jerseys with sleeves at a higher rate than they purchase the traditional ones, they’ll more than likely be here to stay.

Here’s a look at the white version, via the team’s official Twitter page.
