We told you once Chris Paul said he was in for next season the Clippers would get serious about moving Eric Bledsoe. And Chris Paul says he is all in with the Clips.

So expect new trade rumors for Bledsoe to start popping up, such as this one from Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles:

Bledsoe to the Bucks in a sign-and-trade for J.J. Redick.

Or, if you’re looking at two guards, how about one who was in Dallas last year, as Marc Stein of ESPN reports.

There is some logic in these deals (although I like Redick better for L.A.). The Clippers need a two guard who can space the floor as a shooter and both can do that (remember Mayo shot 40.7 percent from three last season in Dallas). Neither are the level of wing defender the Clippers could use but both could fit the offense. Like I said, I like Redick better because he works more comfortably off the ball.

For Dallas, they want a point guard and Bledsoe is a good and potentially very good one, but a guy ready to start. And for the Bucks, this would mean Bledsoe is their point guard of the future and they didn’t plan to match any offers for (or they would do a sign-and-trade with) Brandon Jennings.

There will be other teams interested in Bledsoe, with the most prominent rumor being the Orlando Magic in a swap involving Arron Afflalo and others.

The bottom line is the Clippers are going to have options. And those options are piling up.

have the Clips decided on who would be their back up PG?

i would hope they learned from the Thunders mistake when they unloaded Harden too early that it came to bite them in the ass when Westbrook went down in the playoffs.

Shouldn’t they wait til after the season to maybe do a sign and trade or work a deal so he may want to stay in l.a.

To me salaries aside the Sign and Trade with Orlando looks the most beneficial on the Clippers end; that and I really want to see how and Oladipo-Bledsoe combination would shape up; highlight reel waiting to happen

Bledsoe to the Kings for Thornton & Jimmer… and hell, just about anyone else they might want from that team.

Surely Afflalo is better for then

I can’t believe how severely the Clippers are UNDERSELLING Eric Bledose right now. …. for AARON AFFALO?! JJ REDDICK!? Straight up? These are terrible deals.

ERIC BLEDSOE per 36 Mins (last year)

    15ppg 5 asst 5 boards 2 steals 39% 3pt, 45% fg, 79% ft.

He’s ONLY 23… super athletic and getting better.

This smells like the Harden (oops) deal all over again… watch

I like either one for the Clippers if I’m a Clipper fan! Mayo being the bigger, mire exciting spashier name. Redick the player that would probably be a better fit.

overall though when it comes to Bledsoe, for me, I really want to see him in a Magic uniform alongside Olidipo. But that’s just me.

Bledsoe for JJ Redick!? What a joke of trade. Redick is a role player. Bledsoe is a starting PG with upside.
