Dwyane Wade talks what he played through, future

Jun 24, 2013, 11:06 AM EDT

Dwyane Wade swung by the Dan Patrick show on Monday to talk about playing through knee pain, the comeback at the end of Game 6, and how he the criticism of him during the playoffs didn’t bother him.

“I had to deal with some minor injuries,” is how he put it.

Wade also talks the future and his new Dwyane Wade Driven workout program app, which you can download for $3.99 starting today. He teaches moves and shows drills that he did to help make him the player he was, and it sets up a training program for you.

You should do those workouts while Wade enjoys the championship parade in Miami on Monday.

    So when do Joey Crawford and Genobli get their rings. It’s quite obvious those two gave the cheaters their rings. This why basketball has fallen off in recent years. Hockey is a way better sport.

      I’m as unhappy as anyone that Miami won, but hockey is a better sport? Get out of here. Is the Stanley Cup even still going on? Does anyone care?

        Hockey = better sport
        Basketball = better entertainment

        So if you want legit competitive sports, the NHL is for you. If you enjoy entertainment first and foremost, the NBA is for you.

      basketball has fallen off in recent years?? pretty much the exact opposite. game 7 of the finals was the second highest rated finals game in nba history. dont just pull statements out of nowhere.

      Then go comment on hockey and don’t let the proverbial door hit you in the a$$.

    For someone that says he doesn’t want to talk about injuries, he talks a lot about injuries. I’m sure I’ll be called a hater for that, even though it’s a fact.
