Dwight Howard, Shawn Marion act out movie scenes

Jun 20, 2013, 9:44 AM EDT

Among the reasons to think Dwight Howard is not going to bolt Los Angeles for Houston or anywhere else are things like this — he spent some time recently with Shawn Marion (plus Michael Crabtree and Dez Bryant) to act out some scenes from movies for Relativity Sports. It’s not that you can’t get opportunities to do things like this if you live in Houston or Dallas or Atlanta, but when you live in Los Angeles (or New York) they just come much more often.

Really, the best part of this Howard doing “The 300″ bit, which he parodied speaking to the media at practice at one point this season.

Thanks to Mark Medina at the L.A. Daily News for finding this.

Shawn Marion plays for the Dallas Mavericks so the thought that he has to play in L.A. to get these opportunities isn’t true.

Did you even read the post or were you too busy coming up with that zinger?

      Marion – Dallas
      Bryant – Dallas
Crabtree – plays in SF, born and lives in Dallas

Maybe if Howard wants to be on the big screen, he needs to take his talents to North Texas?

Howard is going to have to decide what matters most to him: the Hollywood lifestyle or a shot at a title, because the Lakers aren’t going to have the other pieces to contend while he’s there.

Dwight Howard, Shawn Marion act out moving screens.

    There, fixed it.
