Highlights from Heat, Spurs postgame press conferences (VIDEO)

Jun 7, 2013, 10:09 AM EDT

Game 1 of the NBA Finals was about as fun a finals game as we have seen in a while — up tempo, good ball movement and smart basketball for the most part. Plus Tony Parker put on a show.

After the game the Spurs sounded like the veterans they are, the Heat were focused on winning Game 2.

Both times the Heat have been down 1-0 in the Finals, it ended with a parade down Biscayne. Only time the Heat won Game 1, things didn’t turn out so well. So we’re all good.

Down 1-0 just a couple weeks ago to the Bulls too.

But yes, you’d have to be a total imbecile not to realize the Spurs are a great team wheras the others were not of this calibre(Thunder were pretty freaking good though). Spurs executed perfectly, and they’re not going to cave to the pressure like all the others. Heat played well, but just messed it up at the end. It can happen. Just can’t keep happening.

And if any Heat fan is feeling a little down right now, go and Youtube the MTV Unplugged version Oceans by Pearl Jam. Freaking amazing. But be warned, you won’t be able to stop there.

As long as we’re in agreement that what you said is imbecilic we’re cool.
