George Hill sprained big toe, will play in Game 2

May 24, 2013, 1:45 PM EDT

Game 1 in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers against the Miami Heat 05/22/2013 AP

George Hill had a rough Game 1 for the Pacers — 2-of-9 shooting for five points with three turnovers.

Plus, he sprained his big toe.

I’m serious, he’s getting treatment and everything. The news comes from the twitter account of Mark Montieth of Pacers.com.

He’s not missing Game 2 for this. But the Pacers are going to need much better games out of him and Lance Stephenson if they are going to even the series. They need a few more things than that, too, but if Hill is slowed a little by this and can’t defend well off the pick-and-roll or if his shot is still off it’s going to be much bigger mountain for the Pacers to climb.

This guy like westbrok always makes excuses for not playing. dont matter, he wont amke a difference as pacers are crap like klast year choking in game one.

What?!? Up until these playoffs, WestbroOk has never missed a game. Not in high school, college or the NBA. Are you thinking of someone else?

Yeah the crack must be extra sugary this morning. Hill has probably missed 15 games since he’s been in the league. Been in the playoffs every year since he’s been in the league. Excuses? What excuse do you have for your jacked up spelling? Sugary crack?

Obviously Wane Gretzky has the wrong sport. Also the wrong language apparently,

77: You would be far better served to do your homework PRIOR to running your mouth.
Otherwise, you ignorance is illustrated for everyone. Doing your homework would allow you some time to bask in normalcy. Until your 3rd or 4th post of course. Then…back to square #1.

actually lebron never missed a game thru college and never missed a playoff unlike westbrook. he also a better player as he has more rings, head to head wins, more mvps, and he beat westbrooks sorry ass in finals.

I agree. LeBron didn’t miss one of his college games. Not one.

I loved George Hill when he was with the Spurs. Great defender, good scorer and tough as nails. I watched him get into it with Kobe once and he didn’t back down an inch. I just don’t think he is a natural point guard. I think his mentality is more that of a 2 than a 1.

Ahe… he’s got 9 more good ones. Take that sucker up and play ball!
